How long does the tanning mousse take to develop?

The tanning mousse typically develops within 4-6 hours, but you can leave it on longer for a deeper tan. If you're layering it, you can leave it on overnight for maximum results. The mousse will naturally fade over 7 days.

How does the tanning spray work? Will it tan my skin just like the mousse?

Yes, the tanning spray works similarly to the mousse although with a slightly less concentration. It’s formulated to give you an even, streak-free tan and is great for hard-to-reach areas. The key difference is in the application method, but the results will be very similar to the mousse.

Why isn’t the tanning mousse available for shipping to my location?

The tanning mousse, is in an aerosol form and will not ship via air due to air shipping restrictions, we currently ship to the US/Canada as we have a local US warehouse, we're currently working on getting a UK warehouse to expand our shipping options. How dark can it go? Can I make it darker?

The tanning mousse gives a natural bronze glow that can build up over consecutive applications. If you want a deeper tan, you can apply a second layer after the first has developed, or leave it on for a longer period before washing off.

Will it stain my sheets after I sweat?

Our tanning mousse is designed to not stain sheets or clothes once it's dry. However, it’s recommended to allow the tan to fully dry before getting dressed or going to bed to avoid any transfer.

When should I wash it off?

You should wait at least 4-6 hours after applying the mousse before washing it off to allow it to develop properly. If you're looking to maintain a lighter tan, you can wash it off sooner.

Can I use the tanning mousse with other products like body oils or moisturisers?

Yes, you can. However, be sure to let any moisturiser or body oil fully absorb before applying the mousse to avoid uneven application. We recommend using a moisturising lotion post-tan to maintain an even, lasting colour.

Can I use the tanning mousse on my face? 

Yes, you can use the tanning mousse on your face, but we recommend a patch test first if you have sensitive skin. For a more subtle application, the tanning serum spray could be a better option for your face.

Are the products suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, our products are designed to be suitable for most skin types. However, we always recommend a patch test, especially if you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergic reactions.

Is Quick Screen TGA listed?

Yes, certain Quick Screen sunscreens are TGA listed. For example, the Quick SPF50+ Screen 3 in 1 Sunscreen, Setting Spray & Hydration Mist is registered with the AUST L number 369936. To confirm if a specific Quick Screen product is TGA listed, look for the AUST L number printed on the front of the bottle or check the product page online. This number indicates that the product has been assessed for safety, quality, and efficacy by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and is approved for supply in Australia.

Is Quick Screen a physical or chemical sunscreen?

Our Quick Screen collection utilises Chemical/Organic Filters as they are the most stabilised form of sunscreen and work especially well on all skin tones as they don’t leave a white cast. We wanted to create a collection that was inclusive of all skin tones, and avoids that ashy, white cast that many physical sunscreens can leave on the skin as well as works amazingly with all skin types and beauty routines. Chemical SPF also layers beautifully under foundation and tinted moisturisers of all types (powder, cream, liquid) as well as suits all skin types including acne prone skins.

How much Quick Screen should I be applying?

You should apply approximately ¼ - ½ a teaspoon of sunscreen to your face first thing in the morning. We recommend an additional ¼ teaspoon for your neck and ears. Ensure you apply your sunscreen approximately 20-30 minutes before you have any sun exposure and ensure you reapply every 2 hours. Sunscreen should not be your only defence from UVA and UVB rays, so always remember to wear a hat, seek out a shady spot and wear sunglasses when spending time directly outside in the sun.

Does Quick Screen contain silicone and is it comedogenic?

Our Quick Screen collection is silicone-free and utilises an ingredient called Cetiol SN- cetearyl isononanoate which provides the same effect as silicone in makeup primers. Because of this our collection is also non-comedogenic.

Are sunscreens cancer causing?

No, sunscreens sold in Australia are not cancer-causing. In fact, they’re heavily regulated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). For a sunscreen to be listed on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG), all ingredients must be fully disclosed and assessed for safety. If any ingredient was found to be carcinogenic (cancer-causing), it simply wouldn’t be approved or allowed in listed products.

Whilst The Quick Flick was born in Perth, Western Australia, we do have three warehouses; Australia, the US and UK. Your order will be dispatched from one of our three warehouses depending on where you live and our stock levels. Rest assured, we will always ship from a warehouse that will allow you to get your purchase in the quickest time possible!

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
